A modern commercial dairy at the heart of Pakistan’s milk industry.

Cheema Dairy Farm runs a modern Holstein-Friesian herd in climate-controlled sheds in Gujranwala district, and supports surrounding growers with year-round advisory, vaccination and veterinary services.

Welcome

Cheema Dairy Farm has worked this land for years. The work has not changed much.

You will find us in Village Sall, on the road from Kalaskey, in the heart of Gujranwala district. We run a modern shed of Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle alongside the local breeds we have always kept.

Pakistan’s milk comes mostly from small farms. Behind every glass of milk is a farmer who got up before the sun. We work our own herd, and we spend the rest of our time helping the farmers around us work theirs.

About the farm
Our work

From the milking shed to the village field day.

Our work covers daily operations on our own farm and a programme of advisory, veterinary and capacity-building services for farmers in the surrounding tehsils.

Livestock advisory

Practical, on-the-ground advice on milk and meat production, animal welfare, and protection from disease and the Punjab heat.

Housing & nutrition

Guidance on sheds, ventilation, ration formulation with green fodder, maize and dry feeds, feed safety, and manure handling.

Vaccination programmes

Scheduled vaccination plans against FMD, HS and other contagious diseases, with per-animal records and farm-worker training.

Treatment & care

On-farm treatment of sick and injured animals, supported by a regular visitation schedule across enrolled farms.

Farmer training & field days

Farmer meetings, on-farm demonstrations and field days that build good livestock practice and lift yield in the district.

Commercial linkage

Connecting farmers with milk buyers, market traders, processors and input suppliers so good production finds a fair market.

The farm at a glance

One farm. Many families served.

We measure our work in the herds we keep healthy and the farmers who come back. The numbers below give a rough picture of the farm’s reach.

Field to market

We sit in the middle of Punjab’s dairy value chain.

A farmer can have a great herd and still get a poor price if they cannot reach the right buyer. We help close that gap. We coordinate with milk processors and market traders, run vaccination cycles that keep animals saleable, and bring growers together at field days so they learn from one another.

The advisory work is unfussy. We show up at the farm, look at the animals, look at the shed, walk the field, and talk plainly with the farmer about what to change first.

پنجاب کی زمین پر محنت سے کمائی ہوئی روزی، ایک گلاس دودھ میں چھپی ہوتی ہے۔ Punjab gives Pakistan most of its milk. Behind that milk are small farms, hard mornings, and people learning from each other. Our job is to be useful at that level.
